He is a former MVC Player of The Year for a reason. If Isiaih Mosley is the most exciting player in the conference, AJ Green is pounding on the door. Drake will likely depend on DeVries’ scoring if it wants that MVC Tourney championship and auto-bid to the Big Dance. As a true freshman, DeVries is leading the Bulldogs in scoring (14.1 ppg) and three-point makes (65), which has led to four games with at least 20 points and two threes. ![]() Tucker DeVries has come into the MVC in Year 1 and let everyone know that he’s going to give them headaches for years to come. There’s a real possibility that Mosley could break some tournament records, and for that, he’s someone to keep an eye on. ![]() He’s averaging more than 19 points for the second-straight season and has multiple 40-plus point games on the year. The 6’5″ junior guard is arguably the most exciting player in the MVC.
